FAPESP and Imperial College London announce call for proposals Versão em português
The exchange of researchers and PhD fellows between the State of São Paulo and the United Kingdom will be supported for up to 24 months (Imperial/Christian Richters)
FAPESP and Imperial College London (Imperial) announce a public call for proposals for the exchange of researchers and PhD fellows between the State of São Paulo and the United Kingdom, under the cooperation agreement signed by the institutions.
By FAPESP, can submit proposals principal investigators of ongoing research projects funded by FAPESP within the following funding lines: Regular Research Awards, Thematic Projects, Young Investigators, Research, Innovation and Dissemination Centers (CEPID/RIDC), Public Education Research Program, Research in Public Policies, and Research Partnership for Technological Innovation (PITE).
Team members of the related research awards are eligible when previously defined as principal or co-principal investigators, associated researchers who are post-doctoral fellows and PhD fellows (the fellowships must be ongoing during the planned exchange mission).
By the British side, full time members of academic or research staff at Imperial can submit proposals. PhD students, post-doctoral researchers and academic or research members are eligible for the exchange activities.
FAPESP and Imperial will each provide funding of up to the equivalent of £6,000.00 per proposal per year, for the duration of the grant, to cover mobility expenses.
The call invites research proposals in all fields. The maximum duration of each project is 24 months, non-extendable.
The closing date for submission is May 19, 2014.
