FAPESP and Ohio State University announce new call for proposals Versão em português
The São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and the Ohio State University (OSU), United States, announce the second call for proposals under the scientific cooperation agreement signed by the institutions. The aim is to fund joint collaborative proposals and the exchange of researchers in all fields of knowledge.
FAPESP and OSU invite interested researchers affiliated with OSU and researchers affiliated with higher education or research institutions in the State of São Paulo to submit research proposals in one of the following modalities:

Mobility: for new submissions to FAPESP-OSU call for proposals; funding up to the equivalent of US$20,000 per awarded proposal (50% from FAPESP and 50% from OSU), to fund air tickets, health insurance, and living allowances for researchers on scientific missions between São Paulo and USA, during one year.

Regular Research Award: for previously funded submissions (under the 2013 FAPESP-OSU Call for Proposals) and/or for research teams who have well-established collaborations between researchers affiliated with OSU and researchers affiliated with higher education or research institutions in the State of São Paulo. Funding up to the equivalent of US$100,000 per awarded proposal (50% from FAPESP and 50% from OSU), for research-related expenses directly pertaining to the project as well as air tickets, health insurance, and living allowances for researchers in scientific mission between São Paulo and USA, during two years.
Researchers from OSU regarded as eligible are faculty members and researchers who are assistant, associate or full professors, research track faculty or research scientists.
The closing date for submission of proposals is July 13, 2015.
