FAPESP announces call for proposals in partnership with Czech funding agency Versão em português

FAPESP and GACR, a research funding agency from the Czech Republic, announce this call for proposals to foster scientific projects within the scope of basic research.
Deadline for submissions is April 8th, 2019. Before starting elaborating the joint project, the researchers from the State of São Paulo must first consult FAPESP about their eligibility. The eligibility consultation must be sent exclusively via e-mail (chamada-gacr@fapesp.br) until March 19th, 2019.
The proposals must be developed by one principal investigator from the State of São Paulo and another one from the Czech Republic – each of them must submit the proposal to his/her respective country’s institution. FAPESP will analyze the proposals sent through the SAGe system (www.fapesp.br/sage) according to the guidelines of Regular Research Grant scheme. GACR will receive the proposals through a particular form, available at www.gacr.cz.
The result for this call for proposal will be announced in November 2019. Activities are expected to start in January 2020.
