FAPESP selects proposals in call for Latin American Biodiversity Versão em português

FAPESP announces the result of a call for proposals in partnership with the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), from the United Kingdom.
The opportunity was also offered by the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET), from Argentina, the Comisión Nacional de Investigación Científica y Tecnológica (CONICYT), from Chile, and the Consejo Nacional de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación Tecnológica (CONCYTEC), from Peru.
The call is part of NERC’s “Latin American Biodiversity Programme”, supported in the UK through the Newton Fund.
The aim of the program is to provide trans-regional level understanding of the role of biodiversity and ecosystem functioning and the services they provide.
