Call selects proposals in collaboration with researchers from Colombia Versão em português
FAPESP and MinCiencias will fund collaborative projects on environment, agricultural sciences and security and defense (image:Leo Ramos Chaves)
FAPESP and the Colombian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MinCiencias) announce a call for proposals for joint projects between researchers affiliated to higher education and research institutions in the state of São Paulo and to researchers in research institutions in Colombia.
It is the first call under the cooperation agreement signed by FAPESP and MinCiencias in 2020.
Scientific projects on Security and Defense, Environment or Agricultural Sciences will be funded. The deadline for submission of proposals is August 18, 2020.
At FAPESP, submissions must follow the rules and guidelines, including those related to the eligibility of applicants, of the modality Regular Research Grants.
The research project must be conceived, written and carried out jointly by the proponents from the State of São Paulo and from Colombia. The proposal must be presented in two versions with the same content, in Portuguese and in Spanish.
FAPESP and MinCiencias will fund a maximum of four proposals in this call. FAPESP will cover the costs to the research team based in the State of Sao Paulo to the maximum of R$ 200.000.00, and MinCiencias will cover the costs of the research team in Colombia, up to $200.000.000 COP per proposal.
