FAPESP and NERC announce projects selected in the Global Partnerships Seedcorn Fund Versão em português
Three projects were selected to be conducted by researchers from the state of São Paulo and the United Kingdom
FAPESP and the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) announce the result of a call for proposals launched last February under the agreement between FAPESP and the United Kingdom Research and Innovation (UKRI) of which NERC is a member.
The aim of the FAPESP-NERC Global Partnerships Seedcorn Fund is to develop, through short-term collaboration mechanisms, new partnerships between research groups from São Paulo and the United Kingdom in environmental sciences.
Benefits expected from from the implementation of the selected projects include the establishment of long-term, self-sustainable collaborations and the creation of high impact knowledge.
The projects will receive support for mobility and exchange activities (such as daily travel and workshops) and for costs of exploratory studies (inputs, third-party services and low-cost equipment).
