FAPESP announces call for proposals with Swiss National Science Foundation Versão em português
Proposals for research collaboration of up to 48 months will be supported, in all areas of knowledge.
FAPESP and the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) announce a call for proposals in the Regular Research Grant or Thematic Project support opportunities for jointly-written scientific collaborations.
This call is the second initiative since FAPESP and SNSF signed a cooperation agreement last year, with the aim to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Switzerland and the state of São Paulo. FAPESP and SNSF will each support teams led by a PI based in their respective state or country.
The call covers all areas of knowledge and opens for proposal submission in the annual period beginning October 1st, 2021 and closing September 30th, 2022. Proposals must be submitted simultaneously to both institutions by the principal investigators in São Paulo and in Switzerland.
Regardless of the support opportunity chosen, the grant conditions include some exceptionalities, including a maximum duration of 48 months, for both Regular Research Grants and Thematic Projects.
Submissions must be preceded by an eligibility consultation by the São Paulo PI.
The call for proposals is available at: www.fapesp.br/15097.
