FAPESP and Emory University launch new call for proposals Versão em português
Opportunity will fund collaborations between researchers in the State of São Paulo and the university in the United States.
FAPESP announces the launch of a new call for proposals for collaborative research with the Emory University, in United States. The call is open to all areas of knowledge.
The two institutions have maintained a scientific cooperation agreement since 2015, with calls for proposals through the modality São Paulo Researchers in International Collaboration (SPRINT). This new bilateral initiative of scientific cooperation aims to raise the collaboration in research between São Paulo and Emory University to new levels.
The proposals should be elaborated jointly between researchers from the State of São Paulo and Emory University, and each side should appoint a principal investigator for the project. FAPESP and Emory will finance the projects for up to 24 months.
FAPESP is committed to support each selected proposal in São Paulo with a maximum of R$ 150,000 per year. Emory University will support its researchers with up to $20,000 per project and per year.
FAPESP will use for this call the Regular Research Grant funding scheme, which will establish the conditions of funding and eligibility for researchers to apply for the notice. Proposals will be accepted until September 30 through the SAGe system.
