FAPESP and ANR announce a new joint call for proposals Versão em português
Opportunity for collaboration between researchers from France and São Paulo will support projects of up to 60 months in five thematic axes.
FAPESP and the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR) have issued a new call for proposals for research projects involving collaboration between scientists from France and from the state of São Paulo.
The call for proposals is launched under the terms of the cooperation agreement signed by ANR and FAPESP. This is the 16th time FAPESP and ANR have launched a joint call for proposals.
Proposals submitted in response to the ANR/FAPESP Generic Call 2023 edition must fit into one or more of five thematic axes: Engineering, Chemistry and Physics; Computer Sciences and Mathematics; Social Sciences and Humanities; Materials Sciences; and Biological Resources, Ecosystems and the Environment.
Pre-registration in the call is required, and must be submitted exclusively by the French researcher partners to ANR, according to ANR procedures, until November 7, 2022. This is also the deadline for São Paulo researchers to request an eligibility analysis by FAPESP.
Proposals deemed eligible by FAPESP and with approved pre-registration in ANR will be invited in February 2023 to submit full proposals. For applicants from the state of São Paulo, collaborative proposals will be carried out at FAPESP as Regular Research Grants (maximum duration of 48 months, exceptionally) or as Thematic Projects (duration from 48 to 60 moths).
In this edition, researchers who are principal or co-principal investigators at ongoing FAPESP grants (Regular, Thematic, PITE, RIDC and ERC/ARC schemes) are also allowed to participate.
The call for proposals is available (in Portuguese) at www.fapesp.br/15716.
