FAPESP and University of Birmingham launch new call for proposals Versão em português
Scientific collaborations with researchers from the British institution will be supported for up to two years in all areas.
FAPESP announces a new call for proposals for collaborative research with the University of Birmingham (UoB), in the United Kingdom. This is the fifth call under the scientific cooperation agreement maintained between FAPESP and UoB.
The call will receive proposals in all areas of knowledge and is open to researchers linked to São Paulo institutions of higher education and research. Proposals must be prepared and signed jointly by a principal investigator from the state of São Paulo and another affiliated to the UoB.
The financing of the proposals will be carried out by both institutions, each of which is responsible for the costing of the project team based in its respective territory. FAPESP will make available the rules and conditions of the Regular Research Grant support opportunity to promote the São Paulo part of the contemplated project, for a maximum period of two years – observing the exceptions valid for this Call.
In order to stimulate international collaboration, researchers responsible for the current Regular Research Grant, which is not the result of a Call for international collaborative projects, may submit a proposal in this Call. The concomitance of projects must be justified in the field Observations/Manifestations of the proposal for analysis.
Proposals must be submitted exclusively via the SAGe System until July 31, the same deadline valid for researchers linked to UoB, who must register in SAGe and submit the proposal by e-mail to the British university.
The call is available at: fapesp.br/16055.
