FAPESP participates in a new call for the Transatlantic Platform (T-AP) Versão em português

FAPESP announces its participation in the new call for proposals “Democracy, Governance and Trust” of the Transatlantic Platform (T-AP). The call is supported by 11 research funding agencies from 09 countries.
The Transatlantic Platform (T-AP) is a collaboration between leading humanities and social sciences funding bodies in Europe and the Americas. T-AP aims to improve transnational research collaboration and has identified a number of common challenges and strategic priority areas where this collaboration will bring benefit.
Proposals submitted in the state of São Paulo must follow the norms and guidelines, including those related to eligibility, according to FAPESP's Regular Research Grant type of support.
The duration of the Regular Research Grant may be up to 36 months. The inclusion of a Postdoctoral Scholarship or TT-5 as a budget item will be allowed.
The total budget requested from FAPESP must be proportional to a maximum of R$ 150,000 per year, including any Post-Doctoral Scholarship or TT-5 and technical reserve items (portion for direct project infrastructure costs and for institutional infrastructure), complementary benefits, forecast imports and other budget items.
Researchers from the state of São Paulo interested in submitting proposals must consult FAPESP regarding their eligibility, before submitting their intention to participate and starting to prepare the joint project.
To encourage international collaborations, the call will welcome proposals from researchers responsible for the current APR that is not the result of a joint call with an international funding agency.
The deadline for eligibility inquiries is October 2 and the deadline for submission of proposals is November 6, 2023.
