FAPESP and CNR (Italy) launch new call for proposals Versão em português
Collaborative research projects in Climate Change, Biodiversity and Bioeconomy will be selected.
FAPESP and the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR), Italy, announce the launch of a new call for proposals, the third under the cooperation agreement between the institutions.
FAPESP's participation in another call for proposals with the CNR takes place through the National Council of State Research Funding Foundations (CONFAP).
Through the call, collaborative research projects in Climate Change, Biodiversity and Bioeconomy will be selected, to be developed by researchers from institutions in the state of São Paulo and Italy.
The research project proposal must be prepared in English and jointly by a Principal Investigator in the state of São Paulo and a Principal Investigator from Italy. Each funding agency will fund the research of the team working in its respective territory, for a period of 24 months.
At FAPESP, researchers eligible under the call must meet the eligibility criteria of its Regular Research Grant modality. Considering the counterpart of the CNR, the limit of resources per proposal will be up to BRL250,000.00.
Proposals must be submitted via the SAGe System by the researcher from the state of São Paulo, who must also send them to the CONFAP platform. In order for the principal investigator of the Italian half of the project to be listed as a member of the team at the time of submission, he/she must register in SAGe.
Proposals will be received until November 29, 2024.
