Dr. Ruth Cardoso Program for Fellowships in Anthropology and Sociology Versão em português
The Dr. Ruth Cardoso Program for Fellowships in Anthropology and Sociology was created jointly by FAPESP, the Coordination of the Advancement of Higher Education (CAPES) and the Fulbright Commission for Educational Exchange between the United States and Brazil. The objective of each call for applications is to foster the participation of Brazilian researchers in research and teaching activities, for the span of one academic year, at Columbia’s Institute of Latin American Studies (ILAS).
Candidates should have recognized academic experience in the areas of social science or the human sciences. Preference will be given to those working in the areas of urban anthropology, sociology or the history of Brazil with a focus on contemporary social movements.
