FAPESP issue call for proposals with University of Ontario Institute of Technology Versão em português
FAPESP and University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT), Canada make public a call for proposals for the exchange of researchers.
The call is open to interested researchers affiliated to the UOIT and researchers affiliated to Higher Education and Research Institutions in the State of São Paulo who are Principal Investigators of ongoing research projects funded by FAPESP within the following schemes: Regular Research Awards, Thematic Projects, Young Investigators, or Research, Innovation and Dissemination Centres (CEPIDs/RIDCs).
Applicants are invited to submit a proposal in one of the following areas: Energy Systems and Nuclear Science; Automotive Engineering; Information and Communications Technologies; Health Informatics; Health Sciences; Environmental Sciences and Engineering (Water, Clean Energy); Justice Studies; Corruption, poverty and development.
FAPESP and UOIT will each provide funding of up to C$5,000.00 per project, per year, for the period established in the award, necessarily and exclusively to cover mobility expenses (travel costs, living allowances, and insurance costs).
The maximum duration of each project is 24 months, non-extendable. The closing date for submitting proposals is October 8, 2012.
